Letters to Bill

Bill had a gift for showing up and making a place feel more connected. He cared deeply about San Diego and was a familiar presence at our programs at Park & Market. He listened closely, shared thoughtful feedback with speakers and guests, and always seemed interested in what we could do next to bring people together.

One moment I especially treasure is the photo of us at Park & Market, with Bill playfully pretending to block my hook shot. It captures the warmth and humor I’ll remember alongside his curiosity and commitment to community. I’m grateful for the time we shared and for the many ways Bill helped make our gatherings more welcoming.
